Sung Soo Jin is a member of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accounts (“KICPA”) since 2001 and also he has a license of Korean Tax Account. He has tax experience over 16 years in Korea and 3 years in Mexico. Especially for the multinational companies, he has been involved in various tax compliance works and tax advisory works such as tax health-check, tax ruling request, tax audit assistance, tax controversy, etc. That is, during his working period, he has handled not only domestic tax issues but also cross-border tax issues including TP. In BDO Korea, he takes an in-charge director role in the international tax/TP service line.
He is specialized in handling the international tax issues as a Korean tax expert and he can cover the domestic tax issues for the foreign multinational companies and their Korean subsidiaries/branches. Especially in the tax area, he has an ability to extract the subsequent/new projects from the current/potential clients with his technical skill as long as the clients have open mind to tax service value. In addition, he is very familiar with TP practice including TP documentation work and also has TP appeal experience in Korean Tax Tribunal.
